Darren made his debut in education within the hairdressing industry in 1990, impressing audiences with his creativity, imagination and importantly, his infectious enthusiasm.

With 24 years of business ownership, at the top of his field, Darren has many frank, honest experiences, from company performance and staffing issues to personal motivation to share with you and your team.

Darren’s expertise has been utilised by such companies as L’Oreal, Goldwell,  Redken, Schwarzkopf and Wella as guest presenter at various seminars.

Winning commercial services awards, small business and service industry awards, the quality of service Darren and his Salon provide has been well and truly acknowledged, with such accolades stating  "As an industry within all industries, the winner is exemplary.  Attention to detail and customer satisfaction are distinguishing features.  This business has been a leader in its field since 1985.  Throughout these years the business has repeatedly re-invented itself in order to satisfy market requirements."

In 2004-5 alone, Darren was invited to participate in Melbourne Fashion Week, Mercedes Fashion Week and the Australian Logie awards.  The recipient of more than 140 national awards, Darren has been a strong force within Australian competition hairdressing with both AIHS and HBIA.

Darren has a wealth of experience to share and is eager to present in his own ‘down to earth’ style.  Darren’s services can be employed by individual salons or any business or profession wishing to benefit from the sharing of ideas that will inspire and assist you in developing new concepts and strategies to aid your business.

Sessions will include such topics as how to achieve and build on a loyal clientele, to demonstrations of the latest cutting and colour concepts developed in the Salon; the new 2010 collection entitled `Darren Grayson Silver` classifying the 25th year of beautiful hair showcases a series of strong, dynamic and definitely ‘edgy’  but much more glamourous looks for the image conscious client in our salon.  

Darren promises his training will excite, inspire new ideas and concepts in hair fashion, client communication and personal motivation for all levels of hairdressing experience.
